Bridal Alterations

Things to Bring
You will need to bring the shoes you plan on wearing the day of as well as any shape wear. If you do not have the actual shoe yet, bring something very similar in height and then I will require you bring the real shoe to the second fitting.

The Process and Timeline
You need to book your bridal alterations at least ONE MONTH out from your wedding. Generally it is a three fitting process. I will book you an initial fitting where I assess all the work that needs to be done. Then we will set a second fitting where we check everything that has been done to the gown, if anything needs to be adjusted at this time, speak now or forever hold your peace. We also will look at our options for bustle at this fitting if you needed a hem. The third (and typically) final fitting you try the dress on one last time and I will show you how to work the bustle. I advise you bring a friend or family member to this last fitting so they can be of assistance on the day of.

Keep in Mind
These are estimates. I do not give quotes over the phone or email, even if you send me a picture I will give you a price range and it is NOT the final quote. I will only give FINAL quotes when I have the gown in hand and can properly assess the construction, fabrication and work that has to be done.
